During making a VoIP call, I heard the ringback tone but could not talk to the receiving party after dialing the number. |

1. It happens
only in the IP sharing environment.
Please refer to Appendix C to
configure Virtual Sever Port Mapping.
2. Please check if the IP address of
your BESTip is consistent with the one
of Virtual Server of IP sharing.

How can I assign the
lines of ringer? |

While dialing,
please dila ID no. + ﹡1 + # for L1
ringer, and dial ID no. + ﹡2 + # for
L2 ringer

If I access the
Internet via Proxy Server. Could I use
BESTip VOIP Gateway? |

No. Because
Bestip series of VOIP Gateway do not
support the procotol of Proxy Server.

After booting my
BESTip, the LCD keeps flashing DNS
Look-up Fail. I can not enter the ready
mode. |

It means your
BESTip is not connected to the network
properly. Please check the LAN port on
the back panel of the BESTip to see if
the two LEDs are flashing. These LEDs
are flashing if Ethernet connection
has been made. It is off when the link
is down (i.e., when no Ethernet
connection exists). |

I could make phone
calls with my BEStip but the calling
party could not reach me. |
